This page explains how to delete your Animal Merge: Defense account and the data that belongs to it. You can do it yourself inside the game, or from this page if you no longer have the game installed.

Delete your account in the game

Open Animal Merge: Defense and stay on the map screen.
Tap the settings button to open Settings.
Tap Delete My Account. The button then asks Confirm Delete? — tap it once more to go ahead.

The deletion happens as part of that flow: our servers delete the game account, and the game then clears the account information it stored on your device (login session, cached profile and account-scoped settings) and returns to a fresh start.

Delete your account without the game

If you have uninstalled the game or cannot open it, email us at contact@darkcatgames.net with the subject Account deletion request. Please include the player name that was shown in the game, and your user ID if you know it. We may ask a question or two to confirm that the account is yours, and then delete it.

What is deleted

The game account on our servers: player name, profile and level progress, in-game currencies, items and heroes, and the records attached to that account.
The account information the game stored on your device: login session, cached profile and account-scoped preferences.

What is not deleted

Store purchases and receipts. Purchases are processed by the store you bought them from (Apple, or Google on Android). Billing records and an active subscription stay with that store and are governed by its own policies. Deleting your game account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Refunds go through the store's refund process.
Records we are required to keep. We may keep a limited record where the law requires it (for example tax and accounting records) or where it is needed to prevent fraud and abuse. Such records are kept only as long as that purpose requires and are not used for gameplay.
Aggregated statistics. Anonymous, aggregated figures that no longer identify you may remain.

Backup copies are removed through the normal rotation of our backups. Our Privacy Policy describes how long we keep data and the other choices you have.
